Education
Ms. Santana obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Central American University (UCA), Managua, Nicaragua in 2020. Graduating with excellent grades in her monographic work entitled “Breach of the communication and visit regime” in matters of Family Law.
In August 2017 she participated in the Maritime Law Congress in Panama City; Likewise, during her studies, she was part of different conferences and projects related to Alternative Conflict Resolution Methods at the Alternative Conflict Resolution Directorate (DIRAC). In November 2020 she received a Diploma in Labor Law from Knowledge for Development. In August 2021 she obtained a Diploma from INCAE Business School- Emerging Leadership of Civil Society. Likewise, in October 2021 she was awarded a Diploma in Human Rights and Culture of Peace by the Central American University (UCA), Managua, Nicaragua.
Professional Experience
In February 2018, she started as an intern at the Ninth Criminal Court of Hearing in the Managua Judicial Complex, as a Legal Assistant. In March 2021, she joined as a Human Rights Defender in the Permanent Commission on Human Rights. Joining the firm in October 2021.
