Education

Mr. Vásquez was an outstanding university student and leader of his generation at the Law School; From his first year, he had the opportunity to join the legal teams of prominent legal offices and solid Economic Groups in Nicaragua, which has added value to his academic training.

Among his main training achievements are:

• Master’s Degree in Corporate Business Law, Universidad Americana (UAM), Nicaragua, 2021.
• Mention in Economic Law, Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), Nicaragua, 2011.
• Law Degree, Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), Nicaragua, 2011.

He has also participated in programs and trainings to update taxes, control, civil procedure and anti-money laundering law (AML).

Professional Experience

He joined the MVLaw team since 2016, as Head of the SMEs and Real Estate, assuming legal and tax advice to retail clients, as well as large-scale real estate projects, in which he has worked in the creation and modification of condominiums.

As of 2017, he also joined the Corporate Law team; working together with the partners of the Firm, advising national and foreign companies, commercial agreements, consumer law, licenses of operations, Due Diligence Legal and mandatory regulation for companies bound by the Financial Analysis Unit (UAF) of Nicaragua. He became Head of a sub-section of the Corporate area. Mr. Vásquez has also provided training on property regulation, labor and social security law and taxes, both for clients and colleagues.

Since October 2021, he joined as Associate of the Tax, Labor and Social Security Department of MVLaw, in which he works as an advisor and as a counsellor-at-law in taxation processes. Likewise, Mr. Vásquez has worked in tax consultations with local and foreign investors from retailers, remmitence, real estate, non-profit organizations, import / export companies, food industry, free zone companies, among other.

Mr. Vásquez has accumulated 16 years of experience in legal advice to companies; Among some of the most prominent companies or brands with which it has been able to work are: PriceSmart, Grupo AMPM, Grupo Carso Infraestructura, Airpak International Nicaragua, Condominio El Cortijo de la Sierra, Condominio Viejo Santo Domingo, Grupo Reyes, Little Caesars Pizza, Banco Ficohsa, Cámara de Urbanizadores de Nicaragua (CADUR), Grupo Coen (Nicaragua) y Grupo Lafise (Nicaragua).
